💎Background on CEO💎

I'm a Black woman pursuing my dream of becoming a doctor — specifically, a surgical endometriosis excision specialist. I'm currently pursuing my second master's in medical school. My journey hasn't been easy. I've battled cancer at a 13 years old, endometriosis, adenomyosis, fibroids, and chronic pelvic pain for years. That lived experience shaped every part of me — personally, emotionally, and professionally. I know what it feels like to live in pain every day and still try to show up, still push through, still dream 💭 

✨ What Inspired our CEO to Start The Lumea Luvay? ✨

This business was born from a place of pain — not just physical pain, but the emotional pain of being overlooked, dismissed, and forced to self-advocate just to survive. I created The Lumea Luvay because I was tired of suffering in Silence. I wanted to build a space for women like me — women who live with chronic conditions - to feel seen, supported, and soft again. Every product is a love letter to the girl l used to be, and a gift to the woman I'm becoming 💞

 

🌹How the CEO Chose our Products 🌹

I choose every product with intention. I ask myself: Would this help me during a flare-up? Would this soothe me when I can't get out of bed? Would this make me feel held, even when no one's around? If the answer is yes, it earns a place in my store. I prioritize comfort, quality, anti-inflammatory support, hormone-safe materials, and style - because I believe healing and luxury should coexist. I research each item and make sure it aligns with my mission to help women feel better in their bodies 🧘🏽

I'm not just a seller — I'm a sister in the struggle who knows your struggle. I know what it's like to cry through cramps, to cancel plans because of pain, to feel betrayed by your own body.

What makes me different is that I'm living this — and healing through it — just like you. I combine medical insight, personal experience, and a bougie, feminine aesthetic to create a brand where pain management feels elegant, and self-care feels sacred ✨

My mission is to help women feel seen, soothed, and celebrated. I want to make products that bring real reliet, elevate daily rituals, and remind us all that we are still worthy of softness — even in our suffering. I built The Lumea Luvay so that no woman has to go through this alone. You are not crazy. You are not weak. You are powerful, precious, and deserving of a life that feels good.
